Special Vacation

Somewhere I would absolutely love to go again would be to the NRHA Futurity in Oklahoma City. The Futurity is the biggest show in the reining world, and it's just incredible to watch. One day I hope to ride in it myself. Some of the most famous horses and riders in the world are there, and seeing them in person is such an incredible experience for me. The Futurity is always the last week in November and goes until the first week in December.
This is a picture of 2009 Futurity champions Shawn Flarida and GunnaTrashya. Shawn Flarida is the only NRHA 4 million dollar rider in history.

This is a picture of the 2010 Futurity champions, Jordan Larson and Spooks Gotta Whiz.

This is a picture from when I went to the Futurity last year. Haley, Karlee and I personally met Shawn Flarida and his horses! It was so amazing.

This is also from last year when Haley, Karlee and I also met Jordan Larson and Spooks Gotta Whiz after their shootout run!!

Professional Mermaid

A very odd job I found is to be a professional mermaid. You must be about 20 ft. underwater breathing trough a hidden rubber hose, for up to 45 minutes. The water isn't exactly warm, either. No matter how cold or tired they are, they must smile through it all as if they're the most relaxed, care-free creature in the world. Even more diffcult, there's also the 15-pound mermaid tail performers must wear. It zips up the side and binds their legs together. It apparently doesn't pay that well either, and most of them have another part-time job. I would not want to do this job, since I'm not a fan of cold water and can't hold my breath for very long.

Someome I Admire

Someome I really admire is my friend Shelbee. I admire her for many reasons, but mostly because she is so independant and confident, and just doesn't care what other people think of her. She just does what makes her happy. Also, she is such a great friend and is always there when I need her to be.

This is me with some freak chick who I for some reason call my best friend. I don't know what I've gotten myself into, I'll probably end up going crazy and owning 101 cats. But I'm glad I have gotten myself into this weird, freak girl's life. As you can see, we both look awful in this picture, as per usual.
I absolutely love this picture. This is John Bonham (Led Zeppelin's drummer), one of the greatest drummers of all time. The really amazing part is, he started playing drums at age 5 without lessons. He just taught himself, and ended up in one of the most famous bands in history. I LOVE THIS MAN.
